 Re: What I Use
I tried a longer one for awhile but noticed that it wasn't always flat on the surface and didn't seem any more accurate than the 9 inch.
That was just my experience.

 Re: What I Use
First of all, let me tell you that I have always struggled with reading greens and putting (4-8 three-putts per round on average). I took the aimpoint green reading clinic by Jason last week and feel like a new man. I have since 1-putted about 10 times over 2 rounds of golf. My biggest problem is still finding the low/high "straight" points. My feet are learning, but I think that getting the breakmaster would dramatically help. Do you agree? And if so, please tell me if this is correct in how I plan to use it. (20 feet and in, or course)
1. I will find the degree of break at the hole... enabling me to decide which chart to use.
2. I will use it at the ball to determine where to look for the straight point.
3. I will use my feet, focusing where it told me the high/low point was.
4. I will place it where I think my feet told me was the straight putt and see if indeed the direction is right at the hole.
5. I can then use the aimpoint chart with great accuracy. (knowing precisely where the straight putt is)
Please let me know if I am missing something or need to change anything in my procedure.
Thanks

 Re: What I Use
I'm glad you enjoyed the class. Using a level is as easy as putting at by the hole to get the direction and amount of slope. You dont need to do anything by the ball. But remember that the direction of the slope is always curving, so for longer putts it will not be in the dame direction as it is by the hole. I hope that helps.
