Carol began teaching in the early eighties under the tutelage of her father George Preisinger, former PGA Life Member. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a BA in Psychology, Carol spent a few years playing professionally and in 1988 joined the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional membership. Carol was twice honored as the 1998 and 2017 LPGA National Teacher of the Year, & has been recognized annually as an LPGA Top 50 Teacher. She has been a GOLF magazine Top 100 Teacher since 2005, and is ranked #8 on Golf Digest’s 50 Best Women Teachers. She has been nominated for Golf Digest Top 50 5 times, and has been recognized as Best in State. She has served as LPGA T&CP Southeast Section President; a member of the LPGA T&CP Executive Committee for 6 years, and it’s Leadership Committee for 3 years.

Formerly the Director of Instruction at Kiawah Island Club, Carol joined The Landings Club coaching staff in 2022. Carol enjoys teaching and coaching all levels of players, and continues to learn as she attends Teaching summits and educational seminars annually.
