Member of the Russian National Golf Team 1999-2005
Became the youngest Russian Amateur champion in 1997 at the age of 14
Russian Amateur champion in 2001. Shot her personal record 66 (-6) June 29th 2001 at the final round of the Russian Amateur and set a course record for women at Moscow Country Club

Maria was one of the team leaders when in 2003 WSU golf team made it to the NCAA National Championship for the first and the only time in the school history. Maria is the first and only Russian to compete at the NCAA National Championship
