Ryan is the Head Teaching Professional at the Glencoe Golf & Country Club. Ryan is constantly learning and working to improve his teaching abilities in order to give the best lesson possible. He has attended many seminars and lessons with some of the best instructors in golf learning from; Jim Hardy, Hank Haney, Mike Bender, Bob Rotella, Stan Utley, Mike & Sandy LeBauve, Mike Bennett, Gio Valliente, Manuel De la Torre, Jim Suttie, Pia Nilsson, Lynn Marriott, Chuck Cook, Martin Ayers and Micheal Hebron. Ryan loves to share his passion of the game of golf with everyone. His goal as a teaching professional is to turn every golfer into lifelong golfers and bestow his students the golfing ability that exceeds their goals and desires.

Ryan is the Glencoe Golf & Country Club Ping staff player and has been recognized not only as one of the best teachers in the country, but also one of the best Ping fitters in the country. He is an accomplished fitting specialist with Ping, Mizuno, Taylor Made, Titleist and Callaway golf equipment. To compliment his teaching and fitting Ryan is trained on the Trackman and Flightscope radar systems, AMM TPI 3D System, Sam Puttlab and Tomi putting system.

Ryan attended the University of Lethbridge earning a Bachelor of Management Degree and completed this Golf Management program at the Lethbridge Community College. In his 25 years in the golf industry, Ryan has competed in the World Junior Championships, PGA of Alberta tournament winner, Pro-Scratch Best Ball Tournament winner, two time PGA of Alberta Ryder Cup winning team member and has participated for many years in the PGA of Canada Assistants Championships. He is a two time recipient of the PGA of Alberta Junior Leader of the Year Award and two time nominee of PGA of Canada Junior Leader of the Year Award, two time nominee of PGA of Alberta Assistant of the year and Teacher of the Year. Ryan has successfully coached the University Of Calgary Golf Team for six years winning four men’s and two ladies provincial titles along the way. Over the course of his career he has coached over 20 juniors to university scholarships.

Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his teaching methods and personalized programming to the Glencoe Golf & Country Club. He looks forward to helping you on your game.
