Sara Dickson is a PGA Certified Professional in Instruction. Originally from Providence, RI, Sara studied Business Administration with a concentration in PGA Golf Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Methodist University (Fayetteville, NC) in 2009. While at Methodist, Sara was an ESPN Magazine All-Academic American member of the 25-time NCAA III National Championship Women’s Golf Team. Most recently, Sara was the 2015 Women’s Metropolitan PGA Player of the Year.

With a strong interest in teaching, after graduation Sara pursued working and studying under instructors in Chicago and Southwest Florida before heading to the Metropolitan Section in 2012, where she spent time at Sleepy Hollow (Scarborough, NY) and The Stanwich Club (Greenwich, CT). In the process, she became a certified AimPoint Green-Reading Instructor, has written published articles for PGA Magazine and maintains a golf specific website at saradickson.com. Sara was recently nominated for the Southwest Florida PGA Chapter Teacher of the Year as well as nominated in 2012 and 2014 for Golf Digest’s Top 40 Teachers Under 40.

Sara enjoys golfing competitively and helping others (from beginners to Tour players) reach their golfing goals as well. When not on the golf course or lesson tee, she appreciates spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and traveling.

Sara is currently the Lead Instructor at Durland Golf (Naples Grande Golf Club, Naples FL) and looks forward to joining the team at The Quaker Ridge Golf Club (Scarsdale, NY) in the Spring of 2016.
