Carol began teaching in the early eighties under the tutelage of her father George Preisinger, retired PGA Life Member. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a BA in Psychology, Carol spent a few years playing professionally and in 1988 joined the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional membership. Carol was honored as the 1998 LPGA National Teacher of the Year, then was recognized annually by Golf For Women magazine as a Top 50 Teacher. She has been a GOLF magazine Top 100 Teacher since 2005, and is ranked #8 on Golf Digest's 50 Best Women Teachers. Carol is in her 12th year as the Director of Instruction at the Kiawah Island Club, and formerly Director of Instruction at City Club Marietta from 1991-2004. She is also serving her last term as LPGA T&CP Southeast Section President, having served on the T&CP Executive Committee for 5 years, and it's Leadership Committee for 3 years. Carol enjoys teaching and coaching all levels of players, and continues to learn as she attends Teaching summits and educational seminars annually.
